Influence Map 5.0 - Mushrooms/Trees (Extract 2)

Here is my fifth influence map which are images and illustrations of mushrooms like trees that I have found, some of these are really cool and when I found them I was amazed at what I saw and this gave me a big influence on how I can use this to my advantage for my second concept piece.

Influence Map 4.0 - Ocean/Coast (Extract 2)

This influence map is about images and illustrations that I have found that have inspired me for parts of my second extract. The main parts I need to concentrate on within extract two are ocean/coasts and mushrooms/trees. This is my fourth influence map within this unit.

These thumbnails are influence from my influence maps as well as my thumbnail designs of lava, caves and crystals which I have merged together and did quick and some detailed sketches of my ideas from the first extract of the Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

This is the last piece that I concentrated on to put in my thumbnail drafts which was about crystals (Opaque Quartz) so I wanted to get the idea of what crystals look like as well as a crystal cavern. I found one which was very influential, it was a crystal cavern in new Mexico (it is within my influence map).
