    Morning Nick,

Okay - well it's good to see you've slimmed down your ambitions! Your revised story is promising, though, tonally, I don't think it quite necessary that your car actually kills the mechanic! Seems a bit brutal to me - and essentially, I'd suggest your car - while maniacal - is mostly a comical creation. Have a look at this for some reference:

I think, in terms of character design, if you were to actually look closely at car design, you might see a natural affinity between cars and cats:

I think you really need to embrace the potential of exaggeration and squash and stretch - really, REALLY morph the features of your car into this snarling 'don't touch me' maniac - don't be timid! Check out this animation for an example of just how far you can push a line...

So - your story is essentially okay - though rethink the dead mechanic - I think it's enough that the car reverses through the back wall of the picture plane and escapes over the hill (perhaps we just hear the sound of another distant accident and plume of smoke...).

Written assignment - fine - but remember the tight, focused structure required of you by a formal introduction:

    1) Just state the question/enquiry of your assignment.
    2) Give your key sources of research and their contribution to the assignment
    3) Give your order of points - I.e. what your assignment will cover first, then second, then third and so on - a road-map for the reader.

Keep working with Gaby, Nick - and please, PLEASE commit some time and concentration to your animation profiles, because you need practice - and practice makes perfect, remember! :)

    1. Thank you for all the advice Phil. I will make those changes and get cracking on some more animation profiles :)
