Background Research about "Jules Gabriel Verne"

What I found out was that when Jules was young (the oldest of five siblings) he was fascinated with the sea and wanted to be a cabin boy at one point and was going to run away from home but decided against it in the end and one of his younger brothers went of the become a naval engineer. Jules Verne was also interested in machines he used to watch steam trains go by when he was young. While I was quite a lad, I used to adore watching machines at work” (Liukkonen, 2008).

He then grew up to become a lawyer getting his degree within 2 years. Shortly after that he found his true calling, which was literature when he started to create plays, and science fiction tales. His most well known pieces which got Verne well known across the world were his three novels; “20,000 Leagues under the Sea, “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” and “Around the World in 80 Days”.
